No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Today’s Reminder
There goes my hero
So Foo Fighters cancelled their show in Singapore. Dave Grohl’s doctors have been advising him to rest because he’s been stressing his voice out way too much.
The feeling I’m experiencing is somewhere between getting run over by a truck and being left at the altar on my wedding day.
But as much as I want to get so angry over this, I can’t because I know how much their love their fans and they would never do anything like this unless it was absolutely necessary. Get well soon, Dave. Maybe next time.
The silver lining here is that we finally have the money to watch Wicked! That and well, I love Singapore and I’m still happy to be going there. Third year in a row!

In other news: When God closes the door, He opens a window. I bagged my first freelance job for the year! There are a couple more in the works, but nothing concrete yet. I’m sooo excited to get started!
Something tells me I should be doing this full-time eventually, but for now, I need more practice.
But it won’t fit in the frame
Just regular texting with my aunt.
Note for the slow at sarcasm:
We appreciate chiseled hunky slabs of man meat as much as the next woman,
but no, we do not support prostitution.
New Trick!
Nothing helps you out of a rut like doing something new. So today, I made my very first GIF ad!
I taught myself to make animated GIFs, and this is the first thing I came up with. Might as well advertise something I’m selling, right? It looks and fits nicely on my blog’s sidebar too.
The timing isn’t perfect, but hey, it’s not bad for my first try!
Fancy seeing you here again.
Odin left for LA with his brother last weekend to attend his cousin’s wedding. They figured they’d might as well make a trip out of it, so he’s coming home on the 29th. Til then, we’re back to Skyping. Ah, just like the old days.
After two years of long distance, ten days doesn’t seem so bad.
Have a great trip, babe!
